Proposed New FiGAG Handicap Calculation System
1. Members will be classified among
three categories:
- Low Handicap (0-20); High Handicap (21-30); Beginners (31-54)
- Low Handicap (0-20); High Handicap (21-30); Beginners (31-54)
2. Each category will be assigned a starting handicap as follows:
- Low (20 hdcp) ; High (27 hdcp); Beginner (36hdcp)
3. All winners of a tournament will see their handicaps deducted by a certain amount of points and all participants who failed to get a place will see their handicaps increase by 1 point for the next tournament.
4. The amount of points to be deducted from the Winners handicap will vary according to the no. of places at stake, e.g.

5. The no.of places at stake in each tournament will be determined by the total nos. of golfers playing, i.e.
3 places (10- 14 players)

6. All handicaps will be updated every month and can be consulted
